Hello everyone -

I'm starting to get the sneaking suspicion my body is naught but a collection of illnesses held together by phlem. I sprained something near my ribcage due to the coughing, and the muscle headaches kill. I have to admit, I'm starting to get a bit worried myself; been sick basically since I started B&N - if my readers recall, I had food poisoning the day before I was due to start and was throwing up. Then came the bronchitis, then tummy issues, now some sort of sinus infection and something that damn well better not be pink eye. Grah.

Work is...ok...I'm really not as happy there as I thought I'd be. It was much nicer just being a consumer. I'm content with things, I suppose, but it always feels like there's something missing. The unspoken leader of the head cashiers, I don't think she likes me. She's always scolding me for things that aren't done, and when I ask her to show me, I get a lot of exasperation and a rapid and incomplete explanation. Am I misspelling things? It feels like it. Hope I didn't rattle my brain with all this coughing.

I'm reading a book called "Blink", my first loan from work - we're allowed to borrow hardback books for two weeks. It's fascinating. I'm actually going to go read more in a sec.

I'm thoroughly addicted to "Rocket Mania" on yahoo games.

Joey is working two jobs now, and I do miss him. We see each other, of course, but now his days off are few and far between. This money shit sucks. At least we're getting closer to our own place. I want my only bills to be my cell phone and my car insurance by the time we move out. Ideally, Joey too, but I doubt it'll happen.
